Through this statement, we gain confidence that in Jesus we have direction, discernment, and peace. When we follow Jesus, we know that he will light our way and empower us to be a light in the world, making our life a testimony of God’s love.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
