Learning to Forgive

The Freedom Of Forgiveness | September 6, 2017
This past Sunday, we had time to meditate and discuss the freedom of forgiveness in our lives. The very act of recognizing our short comings before Father God sets us free from our past, our shame, our guilt, and the anxiety that comes from the bondage of sin.

"And forgive us our debts, ..."
Matthew 6:12 (NASB)

The Benefits Of Forgiving | September 7, 2017
As I was studying forgiveness for last week's message, I realized that there is a powerful connection with ourselves in this point of prayer. As we are forgiven and forgive and are forgiven, our lives and our world return to a place of homeostasis. When our relationship is out of whack with the Lord or others, there is no peace in the heavens or earth. Forgiveness restores that order.

"And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."
Matthew 6:12 (NASB)

When You "Can't" Forgive | September 8, 2017
There are times in our lives when a biblical truth just doesn't seem to line up with our soul. We know the Lord "commands" it, but we are caught in the conundrum of trying to honor the Lord and emotionally unsure how to do it given the circumstances we are facing. Often, an issue of forgiveness will cause us to be caught like this, somewhere in the middle.

"And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."
Matthew 6:12 (NASB)
