Christmas Eve Gathering 2021

Our Christmas Eve Gathering will be on Friday, December 24 at 6pm.
It will be a fun time of singing Christmas carols, listening to Scripture readings, hearing children's Christmas story, and a candle lighting. Following the service there will be refreshments, so bring a plate of Christmas cookies. We look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with you! See you there!!

Celebrate the Fourth of July with Us

We would like to invite you to our gathering on Sunday, July 4, from 10:30am – 12:30pm.

Instead of our regular worship gathering, we will be hosting a fun, family-friendly gathering that will include activities for children and a barbecue for the entire family. Feel free to invite family and friends!

There is no need to RSVP. Come as you are and join us as we celebrate the Fourth of July together.

Join Us for Easter!

Outdoor Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 4 at 10am

We will be having our gathering outdoors on the field at the VLC campus. Please consider inviting family and friends to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with singing, fellowship, and an inspiring message of hope and love.

Like our other gatherings, it will be socially distanced with masks required. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be having an Egg Hunt or refreshments after the service. Regardless of the limitations, we are grateful for the opportunity to gather to worship and celebrate all God has done for us in Christ. We look forward to seeing you then!

In-person Gathering Begin this Sunday at VLC.

As you may have heard, Santa Clara County has allowed churches to gather in-person indoors.
Here is what you can expect.

  • Our worship gathering will start at 10am.

  • It will be a socially distanced gathering.

  • Our singing time will be outdoors.

  • Masks will be required. 

  • We will provide hand sanitizer at the door and will do a temperature check before entering. 

  • We will continue to broadcast our gathering on Zoom and YouTube Live. Links are updated weekly on the VLC homepage.

Everyone who feels comfortable joining us may do so.
If you are in a high-risk category, it might be advisable for you to stay home.
If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home.
(Symptoms are: Cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing. Fever or chills. Muscle or body aches. Vomiting or diarrhea. New loss of taste or smell.)

We are grateful and excited to gather together with you at the VLC campus this Sunday, February 14, at 10am.

Online Sunday Worship Gatherings

Due to the realities of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we will continue to meet online for the foreseeable future. We would love to have as many people as possible join us online for our Sunday Worship Gatherings. We broadcast live via Zoom and YouTube. The addresses for these broadcasts change weekly. Due to the State and County Stay at Home order issued on Friday, December 18, 2020, we have decided that it would be prudent to cancel our in-person Christmas Eve gathering. We will still broadcast the gathering on Zoom and YouTube Live.

VLC Community Retreat 2020

Update: This year’s Community Retreat has been canceled. The Health Department is not allowing Camp Koinonia to reopen in June due to the safety precautions regarding COVID-19. Thanks for understanding.
